Jobsite Steel is excited to announce the opening of our newest manufacturing facility in Sparks, Nevada. The Sparks plant will join our other 2 facilities in Lenoir City, Tennessee, and Waco, Texas, and will service the Western portion of the US. The Sparks facility will be a fully functioning manufacturing facility with roll forming and panel assembly capabilities. The opening of this facility will give JSM the ability to service customers from coast to coast.
The new facility located on Spice Island Drive, boasts over 84,000 square feet of manufacturing floor, with additional office space. The plant will initially run 4 stud and track roll formers and 3 panel assembly lines.
Roy Carroll will oversee plant operations in Sparks. Roy joined the JSM team in 2015 working as a line foreman in Lenoir City. His 20+ plus years of construction experience as well as his California roots, made him the natural choice for Plant Manager. The official start date for the Sparks plant is March 26th. Roy and his crew will hit the ground full speed ahead beginning production on The Expo at Casden West and Sacramento Senior Living Facility. The Expo at Casden West is a 10 story multi-family housing project that will provide 595 apartments to families in the west LA area. Jobsite Steel is excited to team up with Carmel Partners and Standard Drywall Inc. to make this long-awaited development a reality. The Sparks crew will also begin fabrication for the 99,000 plus square foot Sacramento Senior Living Facility. JSM partners with the team at New Valley Construction to provide the framing for this 112- bed project which will feature accommodations for both assisted living and memory care for Sacramento’s Senior community.
